Welcome to the Lair

Lair photography by Carrie Richards, and through the generous contributions of our Lair campers.

Nestled deep in the Stanislaus National Forest at Pinecrest, California, at 5600 feet, you'll find the Lair of the Golden Bear, an unforgettable family Summer vacation spot—owned and operated by the California Alumni Association since 1949. Read more: see slideshow.

COME UP FOR AIR!

Join us for a full week or experience the magic of the Lair in a shorter session.

Our 2009 brochure and reservation forms will be available in late January 2009 – contact us if you’d like to be mailed one. Reservation forms will also be online in late January.

The Lair welcomes all -- you don't have to be a Cal graduate to camp at the Lair or to join the California Alumni Association! A CAA membership is required for at least one attending adult in each individual tent. Details on becoming a member can be found on our Reservations page.
